We will cover site prep (soil, water, fertilization, planting) and cold protection. We will also discuss the ins and outs of each type of flower.
—The workshop will cover the following flowers: Anemones, Ranunculus, Sweet Peas, Snapdragons, Scabiosa, Dianthus, Ammi/Dara, Campanula, Foxglove, Matricaria, Yarrow. We will also be giving out some written information about a few other flowers that are good to be direct sown.

Each participant will leave with the knowledge and supplies they need to grow a beautiful spring cut flower garden. This workshop is more suitable for home gardeners than professional cut flower growers. Please note most of the information is geared towards Zone 6a- 8b.
